The objective for this action is to take a walk in Portsmouth with my chosen thing which is a tissue paper. in a sense, a character to help my senses and make space. I had to use that not as something subjugated to your desire, but according to its ‘score, its agency, which I can listen to, take me somewhere. Give the object the range of possible actions I can imagine ... I use it to make space in different ways ... use it to intervene, to open to listen to the stories in my surroundings and ... then walk.

             

I went to three specific places, starting from Victoria Park, and then Gunwharf quays and along the hot wall beach between round tower and the Clarence pier.

I started out the original intention of functionality movement of the tissue paper which is folding, unfolding and rolling around. And I become to experiment with holding and floating around the space while walking or running along

As I continue to play with it, I become aware of my surroundings and how the object take me through experiences of those moments between me and the space. It amazed me how big the difference used to be when I walked by myself with nothing.

And I tried to connect the functionality and how it transformed into blending with the elements within the space even tiny little things that existed in the park.

Each action that I did with the object,intervening the space had each moment

that made me recognize the importancenof existance between human and non human elements and their little between with us.
